Noviomagus Revisie Mesh
The Noviomagus Revision Meshes are a series of stainless steel meshes specifically designed for containment of bone graft during bone impaction grafting procedures. These innovative implants are anatomically shaped to easily fit in the acetabulum and on proximal femur. All meshes can easily be bended and cut to the appropriate size during surgery. Concurrently, the meshes are stiff enough to fulfill there function of sufficient containing bone graft. Complementary, the Medial Wall, Proximal Femur and Universal Flat meshes have special cut slots for quick trimming on common sites. The entire perforated surface can be used to fixate the meshes with standard 3.5 mm screws. Elevatable loops are added to the femoral and flat meshes for easy fixation of the meshes by cerclage wire or cable. These innovative revision meshes will help the surgeon to securely contain bone graft in reduced time.
Advanced benefits:- First class sterile implant
- Sufficient stiffness to contain bone graft
- Anatomically shape
- Easy to bend into the desired shape
- Easy to trim to the desired size
- Trimming slots on strategic positions
- Extra st iffness at the postero-inferior part of the rim
- Multiple screw holes due to a round 3.5 mm perforation design
- Elevatable loops for cerclage wire or cable
- Reduction of surgical time
Proximal Femur mesh
The Proximal Femur mesh is specially designed to fit on the proximal part of the femur. The mesh can be divided easily at two different sites for smaller defects or to apply more distally on the femur. When the intact trochantor minor is included the proximal flap needs to be trimmed. Fixation with cerclage wire or cable is accommodated by lifting wire loops in the Proximal Femur mesh.
Rim meshes
To construct the superior rim of the medial wall two sizes rim meshes are available. Extra stability is incorporated to minimize the need for screw fixation at the hard to reach postero-inferior part of the rim . The antro-superior side of the mesh can be bended to meat the anatomic shape of the iliac bone.
Medial Wall mesh
The large dome of the Medial Wall mesh enables to cover small as well as large defects of the pelvic medial wall in order to prevent bone graft protrusion. The diameter of the mesh can be adjusted by bending during surgery to meet the individually anatomy of the patient. The flaps can be trimmed at each desired length. Extra cut slots are present on a common length to improve adaption ease and time. Every perforation hole can be used to fixate the mesh with ø3.5 mm screws.
Universal Flat mesh
This mesh can be shaped and cut in each desired shape. Extra trimming slots are added to ease size reduction. Elevatable loops are included for wire or cable fixation.
